One morning, in the misty moments before first light, Brian Faulkner awoke inspired. So he grabbed a pencil and sketched out some quick lines before they got lost in the dawn. It was the first book published under Our State magazine's new imprint, and readers loved it! A Second Edition of Carolina Prayer is in process that also includes Brian's photography. |

A Word to Present and Future Writers.

If you've ever tried to write something that seemed like it didn't want to get written, don't feel alone. It's a dilemma that confronts most writers from time to time and makes them want to hang a sign on their typewriter that says Gone fishing! Or whatever else might do at the moment.
I've never experienced a case of writer's block, which (of course) is an exaggeration. Although not much of one. Perhaps that's why I'm so good at helping others get their writing projects cranked up. So, if you are stuck about what to write or how to write it--or just seem to have run out of gas, give me a call for encouragement, ideas and (most of all) some good words.
